<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer driver that can prevent misprints such as image loss due to a wrong paper feed orientation when a custom paper size is set. <P>SOLUTION: The printer driver 21, which enables setting of a paper feed orientation and setting of a custom paper size allowing arbitrary setting of vertical and horizontal sizes of paper on the screen of an operation/display part 22 of a personal computer 2, comprises a paper determination part 211 for comparing vertical and horizontal lengths of paper to determine the longitudinal direction of the paper when a custom paper size is set, a comparison part 212 for comparing the longitudinal paper direction determined by the paper determination part and a paper feed orientation, and a warning part 213 for displaying a warning on the screen of the personal computer if the comparison by the comparison part finds that the longitudinal paper direction by the paper determination part and the paper feed orientation are different. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
