<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronizing circuit for an optical disk, capable of performing an accurate synchronizing operation, and performing desired defect dealing processing. <P>SOLUTION: The circuit for performing a synchronizing operation based on the reproducing signal of an optical disk is provided with a reproducing signal recovery timing detection circuit for detecting timing according to the recovery of the reproducing signal for a defect signal from a defect signal detection circuit, a delay counter 52P for counting frame synchronous signals from falling timing, a delay decision circuit 52g for deciding whether the count of synchronous signals by the delay counter reaches a predetermined delay count or not, and a circuit for starting the synchronizing operation upon the reception of a message from the delay decision circuit that the count of synchronous signals reaches the predetermined count. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
