<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve measurement accuracy by heightening the S/N ratio in noninvasive glucose concentration measurement. <P>SOLUTION: This glucose concentration measuring device 1 is equipped with a light irradiation part 3 arranged on the surface of a living body A, for irradiating light into the living body A, a light detection part 4 having a signal light detector 21 for detecting outside the living body A, light diffused or transmitted inside the living body A, and an operation means 5 for calculating the glucose concentration in the living body A based on a scattered light signal detected by the signal light detector 21. In the glucose concentration measuring device 1, the light irradiation part 3 is provided with a light source 7, a shielding member 16 arranged on the optical path from the light source 7 to the surface of the living body A, for shielding a part of light from the light source 7, and a converging optical system 15 for converging transmitted light without being shielded by the shielding member 16, and allowing the light to enter the surface of the living body A, and the light detection part 4 is provided with a reflecting member 16 arranged on the back side of the shielding member 16, for reflecting light emitted from the living body A side toward the signal light detector 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
