<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PET bottle for a vending machine with little limitation in cost and a commodity design and hard to generate a "bottle standing" state even if the content is less than 500 mL. <P>SOLUTION: An uneven pattern 9 is formed in a part or over a whole part covering from a shoulder part to a hem part which are contact positions of the bottle body 1 with the bottle storage column wall face 8, thereby improving the slippage of the bottle to prevent the "bottle standing" state. The uneven pattern 9 is formed, for example, in the maximum diameter part of the shoulder part 4 and the hem part 6, or the whole area from the shoulder part 4, barrel part 5 to hem part 6. Preferably, the uneven pattern 9 is either of a spotted pattern or a grid pattern, with its depth not more than 1 mm.
