PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for curing a resin composition containing a radical-curable resin which is sufficiently decreased in the exuding amount of formaldehyde to give a sufficiently suppressed fear of causing sanitary troubles by exudation of chemical substances and is suitable for a finishing material or the like of building materials in the construction field or the like. SOLUTION: The method for curing the resin composition comprises curing the resin composition, which comprises a radical-curable resin, aβ-diketone and an air-drying property-imparting agent, by a curing agent containing acetylacetone peroxide, where the cured product of the resin composition exudes formaldehyde in an amount of at most 1.0 mg/L.
