PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated paper having excellent air permeability, without causing blisters when printed by an off-set rotary printing process, nor by an electrophotographic process, scarcely forming wrinkles caused by off-set rotary printing, and having excellent adaptability to folding and breaking. SOLUTION: This coated paper has a paper-like base material and at least two coated layers formed on at least one of surfaces of the base material, wherein a pigment having a crystal structure based on any one kind of a needlelike crystal, a fusiform crystal, a columnar crystal, and a rice grain-shaped crystal is contained in an inner coated layer adjacent to the paper-like base material, and thermoplastic organic fine particles having a glass transition temperature of 20-150°C are contained in an outermost coated layer formed on the inner coated layer.
