摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing metal particulates with a uniform particle diameter, and to provide metal particulates with a particle diameter on a nanolevel obtained by the production method. SOLUTION: In the method for producing metal particulates by irradiating a metal ion solution with ultrasonic waves, a high concentration metal ion-containing solution is irradiated with ultrasonic waves in the presence of a reducing agent, so that metal particulates with a uniform particle diameter are produced. Preferably, using a high concentration aqueous solution having a metal ion concentration of≥0.001 mol/L, in the presence of a reducing agent, the metal ion solution is stirred, and ultrasonic waves are directly applied inside the solution, so that the metal particulates in which the mean particle diameter is 4 to 20 nm, and the coefficient of variation in the particle diameter is≤12% is produced.
