PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a paper bag or a paper/plastic bag made of plastic handed when an article is purchased to be used for a long term. SOLUTION: A multifunctional case for use of the paper/plastic bag has an inner dimension slightly larger than an outer dimension of the paper/plastic bag made of paper or a filmlike material to be stored, has hanging pieces respectively folded inward which are integrally formed with the upper rim, and has a transparent window made of a transparent material formed at a desired position on a side face. The case further consists of an outer member made of a durable material capable of entirely storing the paper/plastic bag to sandwich the side face of the bag behind the hanging piece, a base plate with an outer dimension slightly smaller than an inner dimension of a bottom of the bag, side plates rising from the outer rim of the base plate having an outer dimension slightly smaller than an inner dimension of the side face of the bag, and an inner member. The inner member is fixed to the inside of the paper/plastic bag and has appropriate rigidity to press the bottom and the side faces of the paper/plastic bag against the bottom and the side faces of the outer member in tight contact.
