PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire pressure monitoring system for a vehicle which improves the performance of receiving a signal from each transmitter on the receiving unit side while avoiding the influence of an under body. SOLUTION: The tire pressure monitoring system of the vehicle is equipped with transmitters detecting the air pressure of each tire outside a cabin and transmitting a detection signal by a radio wave, and a receiving unit receiving the signal from the transmitters inside the cabin. A receiver receiving the detection signal from the transmitters provided in other tires is provided in any one of the tires. and the transmitter fitted to the tire provided with the receiver is made to transmit a detection signal indicating the air pressure of the tire detected by the transmitter and a detection signal from other tires received by the receiver to the receiving unit.
