PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent stamped characters, symbols, simple figures or the like from bleeding. SOLUTION: When a plunger 14 is pushed downwards by an air cylinder 13, the point-of-force shaft 11b of a link plate 11 abuts against the upper side face of the groove 15a of a point-of-force member 15 so as to push down the point-of-force shaft 11b of the link plate 11 which is rotated counterclockwise about a fulcrum shaft 11a, shifting the point-of-action shaft 11c of the link plate 11 toward the direction indicated with an arrow A and lying a stamping head 17 down horizontally. Since the inertial force of the stamping head 17 develops towards a stamping spot B at its instantaneous stopping under the nearest state of the point-of-action shaft 11c of the link plate 11 to the stamping spot B, the stamping head 17 is shifted by a distance S2 towards the stamping spot B in response by a clearance S1 until the point-of-force shaft 11b of the link plate 11 abuts against the under side face of the groove 15a of the point-of-force member 15, resulting in coming the printing rubber 18 of the tip of the stamping head 17 into contact with the stamping spot B.
