PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder in which unevenness of density due to unevenness of temperature can be suppressed using an existing recording head by suppressing temperature difference between ink ejection openings. SOLUTION: A plurality of nozzles 58 are arranged longitudinally in order to eject ink. Each nozzle 58 is connected with a controller 82 through a print nozzle control circuit 80 which is designated by the controller 82 to control ejection of ink from each nozzle 58. The print nozzle control circuit 80 corrects temperature distribution of the nozzles by controlling heating of heating elements provided for the nozzles 58 in the vicinity of the opposite ends of a recording head 40. The controller 82 controls the heating elements of the nozzles 58 by providing data for correcting temperature distribution of the nozzles between the print lines of image data representative of an image and outputting it to the print nozzle control circuit 80.
