<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording method for performing recording outside the range of a recording rate to be decided by recording sensitivity of an optical information recording medium and a device therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information recording device of this invention comprises a reference clock generation part (12) for generating a reference clock, a recording clock generation part (13) for generating a recording clock signal from the reference clock, a waveform setting value storage part (14) for storing a setting value for deciding a shape of a recording waveform for forming a mark shape of a recording mark suitable for a mark length, and a recording waveform generation part (15) for setting the shape of the recording waveform and optionally setting at least any one of each pulse width or each emitting power based on the recording clock signal generated from the recording clock generation part and the setting value stored in the waveform setting value storage part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
