<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device capable of absorbing a variance in emission point intervals, suppressing the displacement amount of a temperature change of a spot on a light receiving surface even when the temperature change of a laser part is accompanied by a wavelength change and reducing the quality deterioration of a servo signal. <P>SOLUTION: First and second diffraction gratings are arrayed in an optical axis direction. For example, a DVD optical beam uses the 0-order lights of the first and second diffraction gratings for detection, and a CD optical beam uses, among diffracted lights of the first and second diffraction gratings, optical beams diffracted in opposing directions with the 0-order light as a boundary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
