PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of freedom to select reproduction package data in a receiving side in a system for separating complex data consisting of a plurality of contents data into package data in each type and sequentially transmitting the package data. SOLUTION: A receiving terminal 3 in a broadcasting system 1 selects contents data that can be received by the receiving terminal 3 by preparing a correspondence table for terminal profiles and data IDs. For example, if sound data is selected, the sound data is sent to a sound decoding circuit 41 and outputted from speakers 44L and 44R. Also, if moving image data is selected between a moving picture and a still picture, package data about the other video contents are discarded, the moving image data are decoded in a moving picture decoding circuit 36 and displayed on a displaying part 41.
