PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated paper having excellent air permeability, without causing blisters when printed by an off-set rotary printing process, nor by an electrophotographic process, exhibiting a good ink set and printing finish in flat paper printing, and scarcely forming wrinkles caused by off-set rotary printing. SOLUTION: This coated paper has a paper-like base material and at least one coated layer formed on at least one of surfaces of the base material, wherein cracks having a width of 0.2-3.0μm and a length of 3-1000μm exist on a surface of the coated layer in a number of 1-1000 counts per mm<SP>2</SP>.
