PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-assisted bicycle which converts kinetic energy when the travelling bicycle is stopped into a form of compressed air, recovering it, and re-utilizing it as a power source as needed. SOLUTION: Recovered energy is accumulated as compressed air in a tank in each time in many braking operations during travelling, and is used as the power source as needed, thereby extending the travelable distance. For further increasing this, an air filled tank or a high pressure gas generating device can be combined. A used prime mover must be of two-operation combination type of a pump and an engine, and a rotating machine, a multi-functional clutch, an operation selector valve, and their integrated system thereof applied to this are developed.
