PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove gas foams deposited in a measurement cell in a short time while actualizing simplification of piping structure and space saving. SOLUTION: An opening/closing valve 9 is installed in the middle of a foam branching path 5 for sending gas foams separated from a liquid in a defoaming tank 1 to a drainage path 4 via a three-way joint 6. By performing opening/closing control on the valve 9, a changeover can be made between a normal measurement state in which the gas foams separated from the liquid in the defoaming tank 1 are directly sent to the drainage path 4 and a gas foam removal state in which a solution mixed with gas foams is all introduced into the measurement cell 2 via an introduction path 3 to remove gas foams deposited in the cell.
