PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed-proof sheet having excellent penetration resistance, light blocking properties and coefficient of water permeation and even excellent handleability. SOLUTION: The weed-proof sheet is a laminated nonwoven fabric prepared by bonding at least a part of a filament nonwoven fabric layer and a staple fiber nonwoven fabric layer with thermally fusible fibers. Unevennesses are continuously formed on the surface of the filament nonwoven fabric layer and fibers in the recessed parts are contact bonded. Furthermore, in the weed-proof sheet, the unevennesses are preferably continuously formed on the surface of the filament nonwoven fabric layer and the fibers are contact bonded in the recessed parts. The ratio of light blocking (based on JIS L1055.6A) of the laminated nonwoven fabric is more preferably≥90% and the penetration resistance is more preferably≥1.0 N. The coefficient of water permeation [based on 3.1(1) of JIS A1218] is more preferably 1.0×10<SP>-2</SP>to 1.0 cm/sec. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
