摘要 <p>A damper mechanism for a lock-up device (7) is a device for mechanically transmitting torque in a torque converter (1). A coil spring (58) is provided in a first window portion (61) and a second window portion (62) that are superposed on each other and compressed in the rotating direction when a drive member (52) and a driven member (53) are relatively rotated. Further, the maximum torsion angle at which the coil spring (58) is maximally compressed by the relative rotation of the drive member (52) and the driven member (53) is thetam. The first window portion (61) and the second window portion (62) have a shape where, in each of the windows, the outer peripheral edge is longer than the inner peripheral edge. Further, an angle theta that each end portion (61a, 61b) in the rotating direction of the first window portion (61) and the second window portion (62) form relative to a center line that is a line connecting the center (O) of the damper mechanism and the center (C1, C2) in the rotating direction of the first window portion (61) and the second window portion (62) is in a range from 0.05 times to 0.60 times the maximum torsion angle thetam.</p>
