FIELD: firearm components, applicable for sound silencing and flash suppression; for changing the character and intensity of the shot decomouflaging factors. ^ SUBSTANCE: the muzzle-cap device has a fitting for attachment on the weapon barrel and a chamber with a shell opening, which communicates with the bore in its muzzle section and is provided with inner partitions with openings for passage of the shell, it also has the second expansion chamber that is partially positioned in the underbarrel cavity and communicates with the bore in its muzzle section, it also communicates with the chamber inner cavity with the shell opening, the part of the second expansion chamber that is positioned in the underbarrel cavity is provided with an additional fitting for attachment to the barrel. ^ EFFECT: reduced pressure inside the muzzle-cap device without worsening of the conditions of barrel cooling and without any interference to functioning of the sighting device due to the increase of the inner space of the muzzle-cap device, reduced linear dimensions of the weapon and reduced shift of the center of gravity, enhanced structural stiffness of the muzzle-cap-barrel system. ^ 8 cl, 1 dwg |
