FIELD: tobacco industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed packing rotor of continuously operating cigarette packing machine contains at least one socket for corresponding group of cigarettes having two end face surfaces and wrapped in tubular package provided with two projecting tubular end faces, each having two small walls. Said rotor transports each end face surface along corresponding trajectory square to corresponding two small walls, each being bent and placed on end face surface by means of corresponding folding mechanism which has surface tangential to end face surface, and it is installed for rotation relative to corresponding axis tilted relative to plane defined by trajectory along which end face surface is displaced. ^ EFFECT: prevention of rupture of tubular package in process of folding. ^ 11 cl, 6 dwg |
