<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily find the location of a remote control device on the side of a performance device. <P>SOLUTION: A keyboard instrument 20 and the remote control device 30 perform wireless communication by a radio wave. With a search signal transmitted from the radio communication section 11 of the keyboard instrument 20, the signal is received by the remote control device 30 and, as the responding operation, a signal for informing the location is transmitted. The location informing signal is received by the antennas 21L, 21R of the keyboard instrument 20 and, by the ratio of each reception strength SGL, SGR of these signal receiving antennas 21L, 21R, the location direction of the remote control device 30 is inferred. On the basis of the larger one of the reception strengths SGL, SGR, the distance is estimated.
