<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal sensor device, the configuration of which does not need an electric system, and which is applicable to an explosion-proof area. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal sensor device comprises a reflector 30 which faces a detection head 21 in which a light emitting fiber 22 and a light receiving fiber 23 are integrated, reflects light emitted from the end of the light emitting fiber, and launches the light into the light receiving fiber; a locking member 60 for locking the reflector; and a shape-memory component 40 recovering a shape which is stored when a temperature rises up to a specified value. The recovery motion of the shape-memory component 40 rotates the locking member 60, the locking of the reflector is released, the reflector is moved by a spring 32 to a position which the detection head does not face, and the launching of the light into the light receiving fiber is interrupted.
