<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for delivering a content to the general public, which enables a specified group to simultaneously watch the same content while reducing the using band on the delivery side. <P>SOLUTION: An image delivery server 10 accepts a watching request from clients 30-1, 30-2 to 30-n (n is the number of members in a group). According to the accepted watching request, the image delivery server 10 forms a delivery schedule for reproduction. According to the delivery schedule, the requested image data are divided, and each segment and a local delivery program are delivered to each client. When a designated time comes, the local delivery program receives delivery of the image data from the client in the group, and transmits them to the buffer of a reproduction program.
