HARMFUL SUBSTANCE REMOVAL APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harmful substance removal apparatus capable of being downsized as a whole.

SOLUTION: An adsorption tower 1 has an adsorbent 2 that adsorbs harmful substances and moisture in gas and a housing vessel 3 in which the adsorbent 2 is housed. An adsorption tower heater 9 for desorbing the harmful substances and moisture from the adsorbent 2 upon the regeneration of the adsorbent 2 is disposed on the outer surface of the housing vessel 3. An evacuated vessel 23 is connected with the housing vessel 3 via a treatment discharge pipe 10. The moisture desorbed from the adsorbent 2 is condensed in the evacuated vessel 23 and an aqueous solution of the harmful substance is produced. The aqueous solution of the harmful substance is taken out through an aqueous solution extract pipe 16.
