<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air supply device for fuel cell so made to rapidly raise temperature at start-up of a fuel cell and thereby to improve the power-generating capacity at the start-up in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The air supply device for fuel cell is provided with a switching valve adjusting the volume of suctioned air, and a switching means for switching the switching valve. The switching means is provided with a temperature detecting means detecting temperature (T) of the fuel cell, and an actuator (an electric motor for the switching valve) driving the switching valve, and at the same time, drives the actuator so as to close the switching valve when the detected temperature (T) is lower than a prescribed temperature (#T)(S12, S14), on the other hand, when the temperature (T) is higher than the prescribed temperature (#T), the actuator is driven so as to open the switching valve (S12, S16). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
