PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystalline compound exhibiting a biaxial liquid crystal phase, and a liquid crystalline compound having three- or more-functional polymerizable groups; and further to provide a liquid crystalline composition using the liquid crystalline compound, and a retardation plate. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal compound represented by general formula (I) (wherein, Cy is a divalent cyclic group; x is an integer of 1-20; m and n are each independently an integer of 1-4; Y1to Y6are each independently methine or nitrogen atom; Q1to Q4are each independently a polymerizable group or methyl group; and L1to L4are each independently a divalent linking group), the liquid crystalline composition containing the compound are provided.
