PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite valve, reducible in size as a whole, superior in heat radiating function and suitable as a four-way valve in a refrigerating cycle. SOLUTION: In one valve element block 10, there are arranged a control valve part A for controlling the flow-in amount of refrigerant, an opening/closing valve part B for opening/closing a flow path for the refrigerant from the control valve part A, and a differential pressure valve part C for changing the flowing direction of the refrigerant with differential pressure between refrigerant pressure given by the control valve part A and that given by the opening/closing valve part B. An electric valve part 60 is attached to the control valve part A, and a solenoid valve part 80 is attached to the opening/closing valve part B. In the differential pressure valve part C, a first differential pressure valve chamber 40 communicated with the control valve part A and a second differential pressure valve chamber 50 communicated with the opening/closing valve part B are formed for change-over between the flowing direction of high pressure refrigerant and the flowing direction of low pressure refrigerant depending on the differential pressure between both chambers 40, 50.
