PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressed-air production facility capable of increasing energy-saving effects. SOLUTION: This compressed-air production facility comprises five air compressor units 1, an air tank 2 storing compressed air discharged from these air compressor units 1, a pressure sensor 3 detecting a pressure in the air tank 2, five air drier units 4, and a control device 5 controlling the number of operating air drier units 4. The air compressor units 1 comprise compressor bodies 6, motors 7 driving the compressor bodies 6, and a control device 8 including an inverter controlling the rotational speed of the motors 7. The air drier units 4 are installed between the air compressor units 1 and the air tank 2 to dehumidify the compressed air discharged from the air compressor units 1. The control device 5 controls the discharged amounts of air and the operating number of the air compressor units 1 based on the pressure detected by the pressure sensor 3.
