PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side net fixing structure for a gabion, which enables fixing of a side net to a trunk net without using a connection coil while ensuring good working efficiency. SOLUTION: According to the structure, rings 30 are attached to corrugated wire edges of the trunk net 11, and a frame wire M of the side net formed like a panel, is inserted in a gap between each corrugated wire intersection point 50 and each pair of the rings 30 at a side edge of the trunk net, followed by inserting a side net fixing hard wire 60 into the rings 30. Before the insertion of the hard wire 60, the gap between each corrugated wire intersection point 50 and the rings 30 is released, and therefore the frame wire M of the side net can be pinched by the corrugated wire edges. After the insertion of the hard wire 60 into the rings 30 at the edges, however, the gap is closed, and therefore the frame wire M of the side net is pinched and inhibited from moving.
