The folding case for the transporting of bottles of drink has cavities in the bottom filled with a cooling fluid so that the bottles stay cold longer when being transported. The case is provided with a hand carrying grip fastened to the transverse walls. The grip consists of a flat plastic strap, for example, and has a further use in that it can encompasses the case in the folded down state and so prevents inadvertent hinging out of the sides. The case may have a shoulder strap fastened to the transverse walls to facilitate carrying of the case.
