A device for optimizing the power value of a combustion engine comprises an extension device (10) for increasing the length of the fixed-point venturi (8).The extension device (10) is joined to adjusters (11) which are designed to space and separate the extension device from the fixed-point venturi (8) when the engine attains a given operational state, in which the extension device (10) is only joined to the venturi (8) before this operational state is reached, so that it shifts or raises the power curve (P) upwards and/or the torque curve (C) of the engine, during its operation before attaining this mentioned state.
