<p>A hoist for elevator comprising a fixed frame, a main cantilever spindle fixed to the fixed frame or a rotary frame to extend vertically therefrom, a stator provided on the fixed frame, the rotary frame supported by the main spindle and extending radially while facing the fixed frame in the axial direction, a rotor provided on the rotary frame oppositely to the stator, a brake for the rotary frame, and a sheave provided on the rotary frame to rotate together. The brake disposed in the hollow section of the fixed frame has a brake section disposed on the inner circumference of the fixed frame or the rotary frame and penetrating an opening. Magnetic path of the brake passes through a part of the rotary frame or the fixed frame. High performance can thereby be realized while reducing the size.</p> |
