FIELD: machine tool manufacture, namely working complex-configuration parts after preliminary heating of worked surface until desired temperature. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes inductor, mechanism for connecting and basing inductor; transformer, HF current generator with capacitor unit, switching circuit. Inductor is provided with set of shaped plates of transformer iron and it includes protection casing. Mechanism for connecting and basing inductor is in the form of tool mandrel that may be mounted in metal cutting machine tool. ^ EFFECT: possibility for enhancing workability of high-strength steels and alloys by cutting. ^ 3 dwg |
