<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it unnecessary to issue a head-paper space setting command from a digital camera side even at the time of a camera direct printing, and to make it possible to prevent the print medium from getting stained by rubbing of the print head and the print medium with each other. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet printing device is composed of a CPU (central processing unit) 1, a first interface 4, a second interface 5, a head-paper spacing adjustment means 6 and the like. When a print job analysis program receives a head-paper space designating job command from a host device 8, the space between the head and the paper is adjusted to "wide" by the head-paper space adjustment means 6 and printing is performed, in a case that the space between the head and the paper is set to "wide" by a head-paper space setting command receiving analysis program. In a case that the space between the head and the paper is not set to "wide" according to the space between the head and the paper specified by the head-paper space designating job command, the space between the head and the paper is adjusted by the head-paper space adjustment means 6 and printing is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
