<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and to improve safety by forming starting areas and safety areas with one sensor in an automatic door device provided with a folding door or a gliding door. <P>SOLUTION: This automatic door device is constituted to fold a door 6 on one opening face side of a door opening 2 to open/close the door opening 2. The sensor 12 is constituted to form detection ranges 14 on a floor face from above one face of the door opening 2, and when an object exists in any one of the detection ranges 14, a corresponding light receiver reacts, and a door control part 8 controls the opening/closing of the door 6 based on the output of the sensor 12. In the automatic door device following the opening/closing of the door 6, the sensor 12 sets the detection ranges to which the corresponding light receivers react, as the safety areas 28 out of a plurality of detection ranges 14 and sets the other detection ranges as the starting areas 30. The door control part 8 controls opening/closing of the door 6 based on the detection signals from the light receivers corresponding to the set safety areas 28 and starting areas 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
