PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of failure at the time of next activation caused by the incomplete termination processing of a microcomputer at the time of a power OFF operation of a receiver and power interruption. SOLUTION: This power controller is equipped with a power switching means 2 for mechanically performing turn on/off of a power source of the receiver, a microcomputer means 9 for controlling the receiver, a power supply control means 5 for holding a state of on of the power switching means 2 by a power supply control signal from the microcomputer means 9 and a state detection means 3 for detecting a switching state of a main power switch and converting it into an electric signal and the failure at the time of termination processing of the microcomputer is evaded by stopping the power source after completion of the termination processing of the microcomputer at the time of an operation of the power switching means 2.
