PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverting part of a transport device for an image forming device capable of taking out a transcription paper sheet automatically upon opening an opening/closing guide plate of the inverting part by arranging so that a transport roller downstream of an inverting roller is driven independently to be stopped at the time of jam treatment and the inverting roller and an upstream transport roller are driven. SOLUTION: The inverting part of the transport device to the image forming device to transport the transcription sheet after being toner transcribed is equipped with the rotatable, opening/closing guide plate 9 to constitute a pair with an inverting guide plate for turning the direction of the sheet P 180 degrees, the large diametric inverting roller 4 having a radius alongside the bending shape of the opening/closing guide plate, the upstream transport roller 1 driven by the same drive source 11 as the inverting roller 4, and the downstream transport roller 5 driven independently of the upstream transport roller 1, wherein the center of the inverting roller 4 can be moved by external drive.
