PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing a slit glass from breakage using a low-cost constitution. SOLUTION: The image forming device 1 is equipped with an automatic document feeding device 2 capable of being opened and closed for feeding a document G and a document reading device 2a having the slit glass 2c for reading the document G transported by the automatic document feeding device 2, wherein the slit glass 2c is fitted with a resilient piece 29.
