PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a man conveyor equipped with a gateway floor unlikely to make slip, assuring a high safety, and excellent in the lifetime and economy. SOLUTION: The man conveyor is equipped with a plurality of footboards 2 moving while they are coupled together endlessly, a gateway 3 for passengers to get on and off from the footboard 2, and the gateway floor 6 constituting the facial material of the gateway 3 and having a number of projection patterns 6A and recess patterns 6B at the surface, wherein each projection pattern 6A is formed so that its longer width lies in the direction perpendicular to the footboard traveling direction and the shorter width lies in the direction along the footboard traveling direction, while the recess pattern 6B is furnished at the surface with groove(s) 7B where at least either of the longer width direction and the shorter width direction is formed.
