LOCAL EXHAUST DEVICE AND WATER WALL UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an explosion-prevention and movement type local exhaust device capable of exhausting mist generated at a coating work or the like while removing it to some extent without requiring exchange of a filter, and a water wall unit. SOLUTION: In the local exhaust device 1, a ventilation fan 3 provided with explosion-prevention structure and the water wall unit 15 are arranged in a body 2 forming a wind tunnel opened at front and rear side and the body 12 is supported by a truck 25 to predetermined height required to the explosion-prevention structure. The water wall unit 15 pumps water stored in a water storage tank 22 by a circulation pump 24 and feeds it to a water feed tank 20, feeds water from the water feed tank 20 to a fiber lock material 18 and removes the fiber lock or the like to some extent while ensuring gas permeability.
