PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a behavior measuring instrument of golf club head that can obtain the behavior of golf club head in swinging motion with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The behavior measuring instrument 10 of golf club head is composed of cameras 12, 14 that capture images of markers provided to the top end surface, the side end surface, and a hosel part of a golf club head from two different directions in a continuous manner, an extraction section 26a that extracts the position of marker description points that describes the positions of the markers in 3-dimensional system of coordinates from the captured images, a memory 34 that memorizes the positions of a 3-dimensional geometric model that reproduces the golf club head and the corresponding points that correspond to the stationing positions of the marker description points on the 3-dimensional geometric model, and a calculation section 26b that calculates the time-series data of the position and the orientation of the 3-dimensional geometric model that reproduces the behavior of the golf club head by calculating the position and the orientation of the 3-dimensional geometric model so that the positions of the corresponding points on the 3-dimensional system of coordinates coincide with the positions of the extracted marker description points.
