PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid removing tool easy to grip about a lid removing tool made for the purpose of lifting a lid by hooking the lid removing tool to a knob positioned on the upper surface of the lid of a container in particular. SOLUTION: The lid removing tool 100 has a lifting arm 102 and two supporting arms 103 formed three-pronged at one end of a handle 101. The arm 102 is inserted between the knob positioned on the upper surface of the lid of the container and the upper surface of the lid, and the upper surface of the lid of the container is supported by the two arms 103 to lift this lid.
