PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method for effectively preventing the vibration of a gradient coil, a device therefor and a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus equipped with the device. SOLUTION: The vibration transmission system of the gradient coil is identified by an adaptation digital filter and the gradient coil is mechanically driven on the basis of the output signal of the identified adaptation digital filter. The gradient coil vibration-proof device comprises a detector (610) for detecting the vibration of the gradient coil, the adaptation digital filter (112) for identifying the vibration transmission system of the gradient coil on the basis of the detection signal of the detector and a driver (606) for mechanically driving the gradient coil on the basis of the output signal of the adaptation digital filter.
