A sealing closure, for an opening (14) in a wall (11) of a vessel, or hollow organ in an animal or human body, in particular, a blood vessel, with a sealing body (41), for insertion in the opening (14), which seals the same and retaining means (43, 44), arranged on the sealing means (41), which anchor the sealing means (41) to the wall (11). The invention further relates to an operating kit for sealing said opening (14), a device for application of the sealing closure (19) and a method for the percutaneous sealing of openings (19) in walls (11) of vessels or hollow organs in an animal or human body. |
