The invention concerns a variable geometry support mobile between folded and extended positions wherein the upper (70) and lower (72) ends of the support are brought together and spaced apart, respectively, comprising at least one articulated parallelogram structure (30b; 30i; 30h) including opposite upper (32b; 32i; 32h) and lower (34b; 34i; 34h) toggle joints, brought together in said folded position and spaced apart in said extended position, and opposite left (36b; 36i; 36h) and right (38b; 38i; 38h) toggle joints, spaced apart in said folded position and brought together in said extended position. The inventive support is characterized in that it comprises extending means (74b; 74i; 74h) constantly tending to bring together the left (36b; 36i; 36h) and right (38b; 38i; 38h) toggle joints. |
