The invention relates to a fuel tank comprising an aeration system and an activated carbon filter, said activated carbon filter being connected to the fuel tank by means of a first line (22), to an internal combustion engine by means of a second line (25) and to the atmosphere by means of a third line (26). The aim of the invention is to provide one such fuel tank with an aeration system that is as simple and compact as possible and fulfils all functions without restriction. To this end, the inventive system comprises a controlled two-way valve unit (23), the first port of the valve unit connecting the first line (22) to the third line and the second port connecting the second line (25) to the third line (26), in addition to an electronic control appliance (28) which is connected to a refuelling sensor (7) and to a liquid level sensor (13), on the inlet side, and to the controlled two-way valve unit (23) on the outlet side. The controlled two-way valve unit (23) comprises two valves (45, 46) which are provided with closing bodies (47, 48) and are mounted in a common housing (40), the first closing body (47) blocking or unblocking the first port and the second closing body (48) blocking the second port or unblocking the same in a controllable manner. |
