<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a positive electrode active material for lithium primary cell which has a high temperature tolerance and a manganese dioxide used for the positive electrode active material for the positive electrode active material for lithium primary cell. <P>SOLUTION: In the positive electrode active material for lithium primary cell composed of manganese dioxide, a part of oxygen is displaced with fluorine, the manganese dioxide is expressed by a formula MnO<SB>2-x</SB>F<SB>x</SB>(in the formula, X is 0.001≤X≤0.2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
