The invention relates to a drive system for devices used in yards, courtyards, and houses, such as mowers, scarifiers, sweepers, leaf collectors, lawn aerators, and similar. The inventive drive system comprises a horizontal work spindle (1), a tool that is arranged on the jacket of said work spindle (1), and an electric motor (6) which is optionally powered by a battery and drives the main arbor (1) via a reducing transmission. Said drive system is characterized in that the electric motor (6), and preferably a reducing transmission (7) and/or an overload clutch and/or the battery (8), is/are disposed in the core of the main arbor (1). |
