Lamp system for automobile using lamps for right and left sides of automobile providing different illumination functions

The lamp system has respective lamps (1a) for the right and left sides of the automobile, each of the lamps having a lamp housing (2a) enclosing a lamp chamber (3a) containing a light bulb (4a) positioned at the rear of a light disc, provided with 2 light disc regions (5a,6a) providing different illumination functions, a light shield (7a) positioned between the light bulb and one of these light disc regions. The light shield in the lamp for the right side of the automobile screens the opposite light disc region to that screened by the light shield in the lamp for the left side of the automobile, so that the lamps provide different illumination functions.
